Lift the Lamp: Immigrant Stories

7:30pm-9:30pm

America has always been called a melting pot, but what exactly does that mean? The Lady in the Harbor has lifted her lamp for people from diverse lands, creating a rich tapestry of cultures that is the fabric of the United States. Join us for the second event in the Irvington Theater Diversity Series as people from Afghanistan, The Soviet Union, Pakistan, Paraguay, and Venezuela share their stories of coming to America and what it means to be an immigrant in this country. This event will be followed by a Q&A.

This is a Free Event.
No reservation or ticket necessary.

Irvington Town Hall Theatre

85 Main Street, Irvington NY 10533
